We recently returned from IWA & OutdoorClassics, the world’s leading exhibition for hunting and sporting guns, outdoor and accessories for over 30 years. More than 1,000 exhibitors with an international share of over 70%, presented their products and services to more than 27,000 trade visitors from more than 100 nations. The international share of visitors is about 60% – which makes IWA & OutdoorClassics in the Exhibition Centre Nürnberg, a truly multinational occasion for the industry.

We met with our suppliers and additionally made some promising new contacts. We have a few more products that we are considering distributing, watch our website and newsletters for details.

News

While in Europe, we visited Heym Waffenfabrik AG. What surprised us on our trip to the factory was the number of double rifles, dreilings and vierling sporting guns that are being built. At the time of our visit, there were at least fifty of these specialist guns in various stages of completion. Needless to say, there were many many more bolt action rifles being built at the same time. As can be appreciated, the Heym factory is an absolute dream facility!

Herr Bauer and his crew at Heym are busy processing our order. We are expecting our shipment to arrive in 3-4 weeks. (Congratulations to Mr. Bauer on his correct prediction on Germany's FIFA victory in the match against the USA!)

News from Revival Industries

We have a shipment of stocks arriving soon. There have been some price increases but thanks to the strong Canadian dollar, we have managed to maintain our prices for the Yukon and Tundra stocks. There is now an additional charge of $6 for LH stocks and a small charge for the non-standard colours. The standard colours are Buckskin Brown, Bone Grey, Woodland Camo, Electric Blue and Cayenne. We will be receiving Yukon WMR stocks in this shipment. We still have a few Tundra stocks for the Marlin bull barrel. We have tried to order 10/22 standard barrel stocks but they are not produced very often, due to lack of demand. We have also ordered some of the new Yukon "Extreme" stocks.

We have news from Montana that they have been inundated with orders for receivers since the closure of Winchester. Our sales of Montana barrels and actions are steady and we have new shipments arriving every few weeks.

Green Mountain Barrels

The barrels in stock sold out very quickly and we are working on getting another batch in as soon as possible.
